On the left, ‘RI’, acronym of the Italian Republic; on the right, the year of the coin’s issue ‘2020’; ‘R’, identifying the Mint of Rome; below, ‘LDS’, initials of the designer Luciana De Simoni; above, arch-shaped inscription ‘CORPO NAZIONALE DEI VIGILI DEL FUOCO’.
The coin’s outer ring depicts the 12 stars of the European flag.
