Subject of commemoration: Finnish Architecture
Description of the design: The design shows the silhouettes of four buildings. The roof towers of the buildings point towards the centre. The texts ‘GESELLIUS’, ‘LINDGREN’, ‘SAARINEN’ and the indication of the issuing country ‘FI’, the mintmark and the year ‘2024’ run diagonally between the buildings. The texts and the silhouettes of the buildings form a clock-like composition on the circular image surface of the coin.
The coin’s outer ring depicts the 12 stars of the European flag.
